2025–26 Hypersonic Horizons High-Speed Video Challenge Entry

Using a PC fan and 3D-printed (Bambu Lab) components including a honeycomb flow straightener, I experimented with ways to visualize airflow over standard and hypersonic type airfoils.

A fog machine seemed promising, but after lots of trial and error, simple incense smoke produced the clearest streamlines. I think I learned the most about aerodynamic principles by trying to teach them in the educational video meant to teach students in grades 6–8.
